The Systems Approach Framework (SAF) provides a stepwise guide to sustainable Integrated Coastal Management (ICM). The SAF provides a platform for integrating trans-disciplinary scientific evidence and stakeholder knowledge towards collaborative decision-making. The SAF consists of six steps from the issue identification to the implementation of policy decisions and validation of the ICM process.
